Except for the initial reaction, I thought it had a good layout.

It looks a lot like a regular blog. Though I would have preferred the side bar to be a tad bit slimmer. (But like neckties, that's a matter of taste.)

The initial shock I got was that I thought I was on the wrong blog, what with the bluegrass ad seemingly more prominent than the blog header name and title. I would suggest that you change the placement of that ad. And you might want the header to be more prominent, maybe use a banner gif instead.

The search edit box also disappeared in the dark. I was wondering about the Search button there, not really seeing the outline of the edit box.

But as I said, the overall layout is good.

How do you change the theme of the blogger?
Even the blue navigation bar at the top also
gone. Is it by copy and pasting or do I need to
do it manually?

there's many site that u can download blogger templates. my fav site http://www.eblogtemplates.com

for nav bar, u can hide or remove it. see this tutorial at Blogger Templates & Tutorials

in my site Wordpress To Blogger, the original theme is for wordpress. i convert it to blogger. thanx for ur comment

i have added star ratings in my blog but the background is still white although i have change the variable and css.

  The posts in the left column seem to blend together. I think this is due in part to the lack of contrasting colors and relatively small post titles when copared to the bold text categories. Try setting the area behind the text to white or something lighter and see where that gets you. Other options would be to darken the left column background color or simply switch the post and left column background colors.

I thought the page had a very clean and crisp feel to it. Perhaps needs more regular content added to it. But other than that, I wasn't distracted by the normal flashy adverts found on other blogs.

Yeah. I went to do some editing my blogspot blog and try to add the feed subscription part and quite shock because google instruct me to join feedburner. Before this I thought that feedburner and google are different company. I guess that feedburner got the potential saw by google.

I shall finished the subsrciption process. Last time I stop because I got confused. LOL!

Nice.

But it's a little slow for my browser to download the page.
Maybe because of my internet connection or maybe
you did put powerful graphic in the template?
But it's good as it was arranged in proper way.
Looks cool bro. I like the color as it is simple and not
to colorful.

Mind if I ask, how do you edit the template? Do you use
software(s) or you type the scripts (do your own programming)?

I don't wish to be rude here, but are you actually allowed to convert Brian Gardner's Revolution Themes to Blogger Templates? - Even if you did happen to purchase the All-Inclusive Developer Package, it states on the website:

You may not resell this theme in any way, shape or form. The Revolution themes are designed to be used once for those who purchase the Single-Use Package and for multiple use on sites for those who purchase the Multiple-Use Package. You may use the themes as a base to create sites that you develop for your clients, but selling the themes outright is prohibited.

Either way, I'd still say it was against the terms that Brian has set out.

(If I see Brian on MSN, then I'll message him and ask. I'm curious you see!)

i think u have a little misunderstanding. $10 is not for selling the templates, but for converting from wordpress theme to blogger template. if that a crime, let me me know about it. i will delete all brian gardner premium wordpress theme immediately.

I've already told you it's against the terms set out on the website, plus you still haven't answered about getting the authors permission? If Brian was going to allow people to use them on Blogger, then I think he'd do it, and code them himself!

1. go to Picasa 3: Free download from Google & click Picasa Web Albums.
2. login using ur google or blogger accout.
3. upload ur pics.
4. go to blogger.com & login
5. choose ur blog. click Layout > Add a Gadget > Slideshow
6. source: picasa web album. on option, choose Album. insert username. e.g, damianjh@gmail.com
7. choose ur album & save.
8. View ur blog.

I like the theme, although I find it a little distracting having the text such a light color. Black would be more effective and shouldn't detract from the overall theme of the page. Keep up the good work!

I'm a writer, so my initial reaction is:

To look professional, change "many great wordpress themes available for you" to "many great WordPress themes available to you".

Change "If u want a theme" to "If you want a theme".

Change "Please use format" to "Please use the format".

Change "Every job has it's price" to "Every job has its price". (No apostrophe in its.)

Change "but want people to appreciate my job" to "but want people to appreciate my work".

Maybe I'm missing something, but why would someone want to change from WP to Blogger? Maybe you could make that case at the top to show why you exist and the value you add. I thought it was a cool look but I was confronted with the "so what?" factor....I couldn't see the reason.

Hi,

I really like the clean lines and the blend of colors that you have used. It's very attractive, and very easy to scroll through the different templates.

I agree with some of the other comments suggesting that your header be made a little larger, to imprint your brand in the minds of your visitors.

I think converting the theme from wordpress to blogger is pretty cool, and you did a great job!

But what I think you need to do is take new screenshots for the slider, that way it they do not look stretched.

I used that theme on your page for a clients site a while back, and I think it uses a different key than the one that shows up under post.

One way to do this would be to take a screenshot, and in photoshop create the image to be the dimension that you require. Then paste in the screenshot, you can then proceed in 1 of 2 directions:

1. Don't show the whole picture, only show most of it. Doing it this way you do not stretch the image, and the website screenshot fills up the whole page.

2. scale it down to fit into the background, and use a common background color to fill it out. I think when I used this theme on a clients site I used a white background, and pasted the image into that.

This makes your page look more professional, and more consistent.

Cool layout but the screenshots of the pages that you have on the homepage you cannot see anything and hurts the eyes and i closed out of the screen right away..soemthing to think about you might want to clear that up abit. Did you do that on purpose to hide content?
