Google Webmaster Tools showing Errors

Hello,

I have a wordpress blog, that I installed the webmaster tools code on. Everything on that end went smoothly, but now it is showing all the crawl errors you can think of. I do have a sitemap installed on my blog, and google has crawled the sitemap according to the sitemap on my blog. Now, the webmaster tools said I had a robots.txt, which I didn't know about until I looked at my blog files, and saw that there is one. Now my sitemap tells me that Wordpress creates a virtual robots.txt and is used, but a real robots.txt file must not exist in the blog directory.

So is the robots.txt file in the blog directory the real one?, and when I opened it in notepad it is blank, is it supposed to be blank? And lastly, my sitemap tells me that that if I have changed something on my server or blog, I should rebuild the sitemap manually. What is it they are talking about?, because you're adding to the blog, and taking stuff off all the time, is that the change they are talking about?

Edit: the robots.txt does have code in it, I must have been looking at the wrong file, in one of the other blog folders. I deleted the file, and hopefully when Google spiders again, it will index my site.

Regards,
Debbie
