Can WP do this type of site

Hi,
Just need some help in deciding on a cms for a site similar to seekingalpha.com , a smaller version you could say.
Would you suggest WP for the same? If not what would you suggest?

Sounds like Wordpress will work for this. Just customize a theme to have the same look and feel.
