I worked on this site for about 6 months and got a new design and everything

I'm wondering how my ad placement is going and anything else you seem to notice that isn't good on my site.

    While your site is pretty simple and nothing too fancy, I actually like it a lot.

    The only issues are with font and color. The category titles are a little too bold and hard to read (at least in Firefox on Windows Vista) and some of the text blends in too much, namely the stats/username/password links on the left and the google link bar at the top. I'd change the colors to a white or something brighter so they can be read. There are obviously a lot of minor changes for design, but generally speaking the site is pretty good.

    As for the adsense, the top banner will be the best. My one recommendation is to add some more text to the video pages instead of just keywords. Quality text/content will give you more targeted ads and higher page rank. Try adding reviews or something.

    Also be wary of the legality of what you link to as Google will kill you off without any questions asked. Even if you don't host anything but are soliciting illegal content they will not be happy.

    The hover color (#menuitem ul li a:hover) is far too dark. I would suggest a much lighter color (yellowish, maybe). And as Chris mentioned, the boldness on the category titles makes them difficult to read.

    The one thing that struck me is that I didn't know the purpose of the site judging solely on the first screen that showed up. I love the graphic up top, but perhaps some extra text explaining about the site would be nice. Most people who will come to your site will only see the top graphic, the ad, and perhaps two rows of the "Featured Videos". Everything together doesn't give any idea on what your site does.

    I was going to write that I couldn't find a search box, but I just took another look and found it above the ad. For me, it was difficult to find.

    All in all I like it, but I think it needs more up top to answer that age-old customer question "Why Should I Stay On Your Site"?

      Thanks, yeah i sort of placed the ads by the search engine hoping for more clicks, which i do have but not sure if it is the best placement of ads and things like that.

    The Good: Easy to navigate, great descriptions of the movies, i tried the search and it worked great.

    The bad:
    The titles on the left hand side seem to be a bit too bold and not clear on what the letters are.

    Overall, a very good site. Great job!
