I like all of this useful advice. Also: add keywords if possible to each blog posting. I have started also to put a Twitter and Facebook like button on my postings, at the top (when I remember it). When I switch over to WordPress, I think it will be easier to have this done automatically (hopefully).

I think this helps some, because every time somebody re-tweets or puts your blog on Facebook, it brings more visitors.
