Hi, I'm building a website for a client and am a bit out of my depth but learning fast.

My aweber form on the site isn't working (both javascript and html options) and I can't figure out why.

Could some kind soul please take a look and stop my hair going greyer?

Am building the site on a spare domain initially at Home

I added a name and (fake) address and it immediately came back to your home page. Did you define (during the setup) a thank-you page URL? That's where it should have gone.

BTW, I'd lower the volume on that auto-music a good bit.

Hi Russ, I just left it to default to the aweber thank-you page.

    Agree re the music

Well, for some reason, that didn't seem to work either. It just came immediately back to your page. - Russ

I guess the next thing to try, then, would be your own thank-you page?

This is the kind of stuff that drives me CRAZY!
    when 1 + 1 doesn't = 2!

I have had problems with Aweber's Java scripts so I use the HTML.
But, since that doesn't work either...

Try building a test page that you can play around with and see if it works.
If it does then it would be a problem on the page.

Sorry I couldn't be of help.
    Try calling Aweber.

The form setup on your page has a blank action <form action=""> so it doesn't know where to send the information.

Hi Jonhel, I get that, that's just a placeholder. The aweber form is at the top left of the page. Guess I'll get on to aweber support, just thought there might be something obvious that I was missing.

    thanks for taking a look

Hi Jonathan, many thanks for the offer, might take you up on that at some point. Have decided to proceed with the non flash (i think flash causes the problem) version of the site, then tweak the flash version at my leisure.
