How To Make Thumbnails Of A Webpage

I build blogs and would like to create a "gallery" of blogs I've created.

What I'd like to do is show small thumbnails of the front pages of the blogs that visitors can click on.

When they click, I'd like a "lifesize" screenshot of the front page to open up.

Does anyone know of a program or an article or tutorial that tells how to do this?
