Hi All,

Just wondering if you know of a good online live chat program to be integrated to wordpress site?

I'm after something simple, nothing fancy.

    Crafty Syntax is open source and generates a bit of HTML to insert it in to any page. Its really ugly though, but it's free!

      i used some program a while back which was quite good, but cant remember at the moment what is was called. It basically allowed people to chat to you through msn.

      While looking I found this though Embed MSN Windows Live Chat in your website | tips4pc.com

      I will keep looking and let you know if I find the one I was looking for.

        Google/Yahoo/Ask/etc. for live support software or live chat software. For Wordpress you'll probably want the services where the chat software is hosted remotely. Or you can always set up your own server and run the chat server yourself.

        Keep in mind that the operator (agent) software (where you're accepting chats from visitors) can be either web-based, or require a 'Microsoft' operating system to run. Check the minimum requirements to see if your computer can run it.

      Crafty Syntax is excellent and the best open source live chat one can find.

      It is true that the original graphics are ugly however that's not a problem since you can change them to awesome graphics.

      You can install this form inside your cpanel if you have Fantastico option.

        There's a $5 flash one that I've used and works well. I'm not sure how well it would embed into WP though.
