    oki then....
so, inside dreamweawer you open the index.html file
    what ain`t working ?
what do you mean that you can`t get the template "in the system"?
is the template looking al;l text and no images? in this case you need to open the stylesheet (the .css file) that comes with it...

any other details would be helpful for helping you

I did all that but when i open the file i just get text.
But i can only see it in the code "section" and i cant change to split or design, and i cant preview in broser either.

well.. when yo download a html template, you should download some archieve, a .zip or smth...
in that zip, there should be, usually, a file called index.html, one called "style.css" and one folder called "images". that is the most simple standard template structure...

if that one doesn`t work either, there is smth wron with your dreamweaver settings...

there is no such thing as to "implement a template" when you are talking about simple htmls sites.

you just grab the code, edit it, change the pics, change the css and done, a whole new website

i don`t believe writing a tutorial is worth the time, especially since your DW is broken. You can always find on the internet tutorials on how to edit sites with dreamweaver
