    You have a couple of options..

    Pay a web designer to build and host one for you.. or do this:

    Buy a domain name, find a good hosting company and install wordpress.

      you could also go for a hub page, which is free like some blogging companies. If you want a list of free web hosting areas let me know.

    You can also start out with a free web site or blog like weebly.com or wordpress.com. They are easy and quick to set up and use and can help you get your feet wet while you learn more about your other options.

      But if you would also like a really good traditional website builder, you should check Dr. Andy Williams' product.

      SEO Website Builder.

      He just made it free to the public a couple of days ago.

      I have been using it for years.

      I still can't believe he has made it totally free.

      He does ask you to join his free mailing list, but believe me, it's information about Internet marketing that you should have anyway.

    I use Kompozer, which I feel is quite user friendly. Blogger (owned by Google) is great for me. Wordpress is also quite good, but more involved.

      The problem with komposer is when you start getting into the real stuff and want to add nice tactics tools to your web site. Komposer gently screws all the codes for you, which leaves you helpless but to strat from scratch!
