I launched my site about a year ago. In the beginning, the site was getting a few hundred unique visits each month. Now, I'm getting over 5K unique visits a month and growing. For me this is great. My problem is, I'm can't seem to make any money from the site. I have CPA, Adsense, and MMR products. I would like to know if there is anyone on the forum who would evaluate the site. I'm even willing to pay a consulting fee.

    Hi,

There are a couple things right off. Your header took up most of my screen. This means that the ads are not seen from the beginning.

The ads you do have are not mixed well with the content. Most of your adsense is not even close to your content. Ordinary users will not be scrolling down to view more ads on your sidebar.

Here is great information from Google on where you should place ads: google.com/adsense/support/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=17954

Blending ads with your content is another solid technique but you do not want to go overboard which could result in violating the Google Terms of Service.

    Hope it helps!

I agree with Lily that your header is too big. I would never put up a header for which the height is above 200px and you have 500px at the moment. Too much of your content goes under the fold which gives bad CTR.

Also your ads are placed wrong. First of all, I would place an add between your content and title on the left side. That usually gives a good CTR for ads.

Seeing that you use WordPress I would use an ad rotator plugin for the ads in the sidebar. That way every time a new visitor comes along they will see a different ad. Use pretty link to cloak your affiliate links and to check the hops you are getting. That way you can see which ads gets the most CTR. You can then remove the ones that don't make you any money. Make sure that your ads are above the fold in the sidebar. Maybe put one (you have two now, remove one) opt in form at the top of the fold, then your ads, and then the rest of the sidebar content.

If you really want to get some earning from your website then you should provide back link to others manage some special topics on your pages and allow persons to post here their links. If a same topic link will be posted here may be converted into back link for the posted URL. You can take money from the owner of link or from who is posting the link.

But for that you will have to increase quality of you website.
