Looking for some honest feedback on a site I put up recently about kids cookbooks. I am using it mainly to drive people to Amazon to purchase kids cookbooks. I have not had any sales yet but have made some money with adsense. I will also be putting up some other pages that work well with this little niche.

I have a number of other niches but am waiting to find a system that works before I start on them. I am also looking for a mentor to help me.

    since u're asking for honest feedback, then... i'll say.... the design wasn't really catch the kids eye... kids loves colors, so to make a website for this niche, you'll need a site with colorfull headers, background and images.

    Hi, I genuinely feel your site needs to be re-designed, redneo is right, if you are targeting kids, the site needs to be more colorful and attractive. come up with a great color contrast and special features like cartoons and pictures of delicious food etc to attract kids and the loading time is very slow, fix that problem too. Overall below average.

      Wait..I'm confused..

      Shouldn't the OP be targeting the parents who are purchasing the cook books for their kids? I mean, let's face it. It's the parents who are ones paying for these kind of books.

      But I don't disagree with the fact that adding more pictures will help since parents can check out the website with their kids.

      My honest opinion is that the website looks dull and half-assed. If you want to really pull in some sales, maybe adding your own feedback or research to the copy instead of having it all blocked up like how it is now. Just my opinion.
