Hi all. I have a great wordpress template I am using. I love it! But I need to change the picture that they have in the header (the top part....guessing it is the header). I have changed a few things in editor before. I would love to try to put my jpg pic in the place of this picture...actually they have a square with about 3 changing pictures. How can I do this?

Normally this is edited in your header.php Theme file (accessed in the Appearance >> Editor section of your WordPress Admin).

You'll need to replace the code that displays the current 3 changing pictures with image src code to your image.

To be able to assist further it would be helpful to see your website code...

Are you able to provide provide your website url?

    What WordPressTheme are you using?

That theme has a seperate folder for those images. You will need to upload your image you want to appear to that folder. I don't know the name of the folder, only used the theme once before, but I can remember that's how it works.

Use a FTP software like FileZilla to upload the new image and replace the old image, that should work fine.

the easiest way to replace it, is open ur theme forlder, and see in "images" folder, find the image u want to replace and edit it in photoshop or other photos editor...

after you edited the image, upload them to ur theme folder in images folder.

place image in wp-content/themes/default/images folder on server same name as file usally header.jpg, or gif, or png. this way you don't have to modify header.php file. only one suggestion, and I should have said in the beginning pull the original file header.jpg and make sure you know your width and height so it fits theme correctly, at least width.
