Does anyone know how to add a space between the image and text on WP?

I've tried for over an hour to add a space between the image and text on my blog. I even Googled it but I'm just not getting something right.

Most of the answers I've found are given be true techies an they don't explain how to do it very well....at least not for the lay person.

When I upload the photo from the WP media library, the it to close to the text, I'd like to give the text and image a little "breathing room" if you will.

Any suggestions?

Thanks.

If you're in visual editing mode for your post or page just click on the picture and then up will pop a little panorama button or an "x" button to get rid of the picture

    Click the "Panorama" button

After you do that the image editor will pop up in a lightbox.

Click advanced settings and then scroll down to "image properties"

You can add a number in either the vertical space or horizontal space boxes, I usually go with 4-5 vertical and 5 horizontal. The numbers will be displayed in pixels.

This will allow you to add some padding to your picture

Let me know if you need further help.

      Hi Shelby,

      thanks a lot.

Would you happen to know how to wrap the text around the image?

      Thanks again.

UPDATE: I got it. I inserted this code (style="border: 0pt none; float:left; padding-right:10px; padding-bottom:10px") in between img and src

Or Left click on the image, click on the edit icon and select alignment left (right if you prefer)
