Hello all,

I am kind of newbie to Joomla CMS and i find it little complicated.
Can anyone please suggest me a free online e-book or PDF where in all the Content management basics are clearly explained? Need to know more about menu management, creating a particular layout and adding more features in joomla.

I would be grateful!

The beginner's guide on the Joomla website has the best introduction to getting started with Joomla:
Beginners - Joomla! Documentation

The forums on the Joomla site are active as well. The Joomla content management system definitely has a learning curve to it.

  Joomla is a content management software that depends largely on the basis of their performance. A database is a prerequisite before installing Joomla on localhost and fortunately, the configuration is easy and simple.

I purchased a joomla book on amazon that was VERY helpful when I started messing with it... unfortunately I can't remember the name as I lent it to a friend and never got it back...typical.
