Pictures not showing right in IE

My gosh how I hate Internet Explorer. Microsoft is lightyears behind just about every single other browser on the planet, despite of being one of the biggest IT companys on the planet.

Run this site in IE.

Looks good, eyh? How the heck can I fix the broken pics? Works great in FF and Chrome, it seems, so why the heck does IE have such a big problem with this?

I feel your pain - IE is a horrible blight on any webdesigner's existence!

I checked it out in IE via Browserlab and it looks to me that the images are showing, but in the wrong proportions.

I'm not sure that this is the problem, but have you tried defining the width and height as pixel values, rather than as just a number?

Didn`t work putting in the px. Anyone else? Seems like there`s a problem with their original size; I edited the px when putting the images into the table because they were to big. The Visa/Mastercard/Diners small ikons are tiny to begin with, so they look better..

  Maybe try defining the width of the <td> as well as the images, or altering your 'if IE 6' statement to include all versions of IE - the alternate stylesheet might behave better.

  How do I change the 'if IE 6' to work for all versions then? Can I just alter the name of the file?

  Just remove the '6' so it only says <!--[if IE]>

  For images to show correctly within a table within any version of IE you need to define the width of the td tag. So for example if you did the following then your images will be shown correcly within all browsers:
