Wordpress Image Problems

Hi People

I am having allot of problems with uploading images to my pages/posts on my wordpress sites.

When I go to upload an image I get =
“image.jpg” has failed to upload due to an error
Unable to create directory /home/falsena1/public_html/imagesites.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2010/08. Is its parent directory writable by the server?

What do I need to do to sort this out? Do I need to change the premissions on one of the folders on the server?

Please can someone help me out with this, thanks coming your way!

    I have had the same problem a while back and I hope that this can help.

    If you go to your admin panel and scroll down to the settings for your blog, click on the settings link for Media.

    On the section that says "Uploading Files" check the line "Store uploads in this folder". Does it match the location that you have above?

    Normally the location is just listed as wp-content/uploads .See if that works. If it doesn't try wp-content/uploads/2010/08 but try the simple wp-content/uploads first.

    I know that there are other reasons why images won't upload but 99% of the time I found out that this was the issue.

    did u get it to work? Try changing the permissions in the ftp
