Facebook Style Home Page vs Static Navigation Page

Hi Guys,

I have a custom navigation page that I use as my home page. Visitors are able to join the site from the home page, as well as navigate the rest of the site to all the majors areas (ie forum, news, social network, etc)

Someone recently suggested that I remove all the links to the rest of the site and I DO NOT allow visitors to navigate the site, unless they join first...like Facebook.

The URL of my site is "TheUrbanAdult" dotcom

Please feel free to provide your opinions and suggestions.

No one! I know I am new and this is my first post here on WF, but with the amount of members and activity here, I thought I get at least one or two suggestions. Come on now.

    hello its ok, chill,

If the data you collect is no where near as sensitive as the data FB collects, than no do not do this, With a site like that you want the surfers to get a feel of whats going on before demanding anything from them, especially if you are already running adsense ads. FB literally collects faces, numbers, personal stuff, plus with all the bad press with privacy, it is imperative they use that set up. So no just to be clear buddy, doing that will hurt the site, hope this helps.
