Hope someone can help out.

Which is the best way to link pages internally to get maximum link juice?

That is, linking from home page to articles or from article to article etc.

Options:

../page1 html or

http://www[dot]mysite[dot]com/page1 html

Does it make a difference?

ps. I always link to http://www[dot]mysite[dot]com whenever I link back to the home page.

It really depends on what you're trying to do. If you're just looking to build some PR for your home page, you can link back to that.

But what's more important is that you use good keyword-rich anchor text in your links.

More important than how you link is whether or not you consistently link the same way. You can link back to your home page using http://mysite.com or you can link back using http://www.mysite.com or http://www.mysite.com/index.html it doesn't really matter. What does matter is that you use the same method every time you link back.

Google Canonical linking to learn more about it. I also suggest you Google Silo linking too.
