This was a tough decision.

It came down to how much I can afford right now.

I am going with WishList at $97.00

As for features DAP is the best for online marketing
in my opinion. But the price was out of my range right now.

For me FREE is great but what about tech support?

I choice WishList for these reasons:

1. Price other wise I would have went with DAP because it is set up more
for marketers and has all the features you would want or need to make
money from a membership site.

2. Number of payment acceptance options.

3. Login redirect. This means when a member logs in I can direct them
to any page I want. Great for when I am promoting something or doing
a JV.

4. Money. I hate to admit it but if I had it I would go with DAP.

Would love to hear from those who have it or other membership plugins.

I just found out about Magic Memebers and it looks pretty good too.

I'm using Wishlist Member and DAP for my membership sites.

So in my experiences, I would rather recommend you to buy and use DAP.

Why? currently WLM 2.4 seems has so many bugs with the new wp3.0. and whenever you ask their support team they will reply to you after several days. And when you post the answer then they will reply to you still after several days. In my case, I have to wait 3 weeks just to ask "how could I set my cron job since my sequential upgrade features is not functioning properly, and yet all members will be put in non members area after the expiry of the membership level."

But with DAP, Ravi will respond to you immediately. Ask anything even the same question, then he will reply and guide you immediately.

The best part, with DAP is that it has the content responder and comes with email responder, affiliates management, multi-tier affiliates, could protect both html and wordpress, build in shopping cart and etc which could not be found in Wishlist member.

Sorry guys, I have 7 membership sites using WLM previously. But seems it has a lot of bugs an poor support team, I move to DAP. Now all my new membership sites using DAP. You will never worry if wordpress changing from 3.0 to 9.0 anymore..

By the way.. it's your choice.. for me, I would rather invest my money for something which is more great especially when it comes into support team.

P/s : you may use DAP + JvPress + Easy Video Player to create a great membership sites compared to Kajabi.

Basic Install:

Upload wp-members.php to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory
Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress

I am using wp-members too,
but looking for other better membership management plugins..
TS can edit and make a list of all the available choices of the membership plugins at the 1st post.
