I took a Hacksaw to My Blog

Hey Guys yesterday I posted a thread on HERE asking people what they thought about my Blog and why I was not getting any traffic/Subscribers! Well today I have took a hacksaw to it and completely changed the look and feel of it! What do you guys think? is it pleasing to the eye? Would you spend more time on there? do you think I should change the White Writing on the black background? Would love your thoughts?

    I would definitely lose the dark background. It's difficult for old people like me to read. And on your opt-in form, the small red text is unreadable.

    On your opt-in form, you need a more compelling reason to sign up. Welcome to My Blog is not going to do it for you. Neither is the promise of three free eBooks (one of which you give away with no opt-in required on another page). Why should I sign up for your mailing list? What's in it for me? Whittle the answer down to 15 words or less and put that in your opt-in form.

    I'd also remove the feedburner subscription count. No need to advertise that unless you've got enough to make you look really good, and 2 doesn't do it.

    What is said above is so true.

    Then after you've done all that you need a reason for people to visit your blog and/or subscribe.

    Firstly you need to keep creating great content and hope it goes viral. Make the going viral part easy by providing easy to access share buttons.

    Forced popularity without quality content begins with unique giveaways and competitions so if you've got an idea for doing that then put something up for grabs that is of high value.
