On my homepage webhostmaven dot com
you see a comparison table. On the wordpress control panel I chose only to have the table display on the homepage.

But if you click on a post or category page, check the sidebar...you can see a partial comparison table, I want to get rid of it.

when I use firebug, this is the code I find:

<ul>
<tablewidth='580px' style='width:580px !important;' id='myrp_comparison_table' ><thead><tr>

If I get rid of this, my problem goes away, the only thing is, I can't find out where this is. I have checked all the template php files, etc...

Please help...thanks

I checked it again to make sure, no. It is not in there. The comparison chart is a plugin if that helps any...still can't find it though.

check the php files for the plugin either through the cp or via ftp. dont forget to back up before making any changes and make a copy of the source files.

I checked the plugin php files as well, I will double check them to be sure but so far, I am turning up nothing.

If I see it in Firebug, it has to exist correct?

The code is coming from your reviews plugin, in the widget section.

That is what I thought, but when I check the widget php, it is not there, nor is it there in the plugin php...maybe i am missing it, but I checked.

That section of the sidebar is NOT a widget, it is part of the template...but it is obviously pulling it from the plugin somehow, even if I have the comparison table on homepage only...

      Thanks though...

I am at my wits end...and I am probably missing something simple...

If it's not a widget, then it's been added directly to the sidebar either through the plugin or directly into the sidebar coding, usually found within sidebar.php in your theme folder.

I don't know exactly what you mean by 'the comparison on the homepage only'. Is there an option for this on a template options page or the plugin options?

Regardless - I don't think that's the issue. If you can't find where it is, you might have throw someone a Paypal bone to fix it, if it's important to you.

Spoke with the guy who created the plugin- finally. He is aware of it, and has a work around for it, for now...

Thanks for all your help guys...
