Wordpress - Arras Theme Help

Hey guys, I've been using the wonderful Arras theme for some time now, and I love it, but there are some things that I don't really like. I've created a mock site so I can show you guys and let you see what I have been trying to change without much success (completely mock site!)

Internet Marketing Products | Testing Products and Services so you Don't Have to (Free site on Free host, only used for testing)

This is what I use now to test things on my core site without actually changing and fiddling there.

Now, what I would like is to make a seperate preview icon for the smaller images as opposed to the larger ones. What Arras actually does is just shrink the larger image down, and not equally.

The two ways of fixing it I have come up with are:

A - make it so the big preview and little preview share the same aspect ratio (not optimal, as I would actually like different images in some cases)

B - make the same article twice, in different categories, and choose a different preview picture for the second article. (not ideal, as then I have duplicate content, but great for split testing)

Neither of these are great, so I thought I would leave it here for you guys to puzzle over (if you so wish). I have tried the arras theme forums, but zero help there : Arras Theme Community Forums

Help me warriors, your my only hope!

Neither of these are theme issues really.
    A. From what I see is WordPresses default way to handle the images. I'm not sure what size you uploaded, but what is seen there is the actual image, it's not being shrunk with CSS or anything like that. http://improducts.co.cc/wp-content/u...ch-195x110.png

    B. I don't see how you could do this with out using one of 2 ways,
    1. Make 2 posts the same with different images.
    2. Use an actual A/B split test such as Website Optimizer by Google. Still would need two posts and some theme edits.

If you had intended on uploading large images that you wanted cropped on load, most use TimThumb script, I do in my themes also. But this again requires some knowledge and editing the theme to install it.
