We all have different success stories. Different things that make our own website stand out from the rest, be unique and attract a good audience (traffic).

If you had to choose one thing, what would you say it was that made your website stand out and start attracting traffic ?

I would love the feedback, to help in my own marketing/promotional strategies.

I really think you have to have a combination of things going on to make your site successful 1. Great SEO 2.Easy to Navigate and attractive 3.Valuable Content 4. updated content

Find low hanging fruit, i.e. low competition keywords and focus on them. Rank for them and then repeat. many little streams of traffic grow into a huge river eventually. But seeing traffic and income increase gradually is very motivating.

  I have read on other forums that certain marketers go for high competing keywords then branch out from there eg mobile deals which would then lead to promoting accessories phones etc.

For a good traffic, you need content in different area to get so many inputs from google. You can add News and forums to your site. Apart from that articles on your site may help ranking your site better. Google loves growing sites, so try adding valueable content to your site as new pages.
