Hey warriors.
I got a WP theme and it contains two right sidebars.
Here it is
http://www.freewordpressthemes4u.com...o_dance_eve052

I was wondering how I can change one right sidebar to the left side..
How can I do this?

I would also like to change the brown content colour to white.. How can I make that possible?
Thanks!

What program are you using to edit your WordPress template? You can't change it within WordPress itself can you? Otherwise you'll have to edit the PHP within a text editor or so to align your siderbar.php to the left side.

You will need to make your changes in the style sheet (style.css)

Look for the section about sidebars - sometimes you just need to change the first sidebar from right to left - but other times, you need to change the main content. It depends on how the code was written.

For the brown bar, you can change the brown color key to white (ffffff). But if it is a graphic, you will have to color the piece white in a program like paint or photoshop.

I'm not sure what program. Perhaps just a notepad to modify the files? I'm not an expert... Yeap, can't change it within Wordpress..

I will try to experiment that up.

You have to edit the div container for one of the sidebars to float to left and this can be done by locating the class name for the sidebar and editing it from the stylesheet.

    Hope this helps

Let me know if anyone has changed it for you yet.

I can do it in a few minutes, but you will have to PM your email address where I should send the file since I do not have enough posts yet to PM the file to you.

Use that theme ONLY if you like to have encoded links in the footer of your blog

I discovered that if you install colorpicker on your browser, when you enable it, hovering over any part of a website will show you what the name of that section is, as listed in the css files. This has saved my arse many a time when I wanted to change a free theme to suit my needs. If I know what the theme calls each section, I can then search for that in the css file and change it.

For example, if I enable colorpicker and then hover over this box where I am typing this message, I see "body.wysiwyg" down below.

The colorpicker I use is Color Zilla for firefox. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/fir...ag/colorpicker I couldn't live without it!
