Flash Websites

Hi ppl,

I was looking at developing a website mainly using flash. My question is can you still get good search engine rankings with these types of website or do they end up duds?

    Don't do it. Unless you are a musician or digital artist, you will just annoy people. (And no, search engines are not great with flash sites.)

      Flash haters... tut. tut. tut...

      A smart marketer would have flash content, with html links to pages along with direct links to pdf's... keyword loaded and relevant.

      Flash doesnt annoy people...

      Crappy, Useless, Long Loading and Non Revelevant, Flash annoys people.

    I would suggest use a simple HTML page with a Flash Header & Navigation. If the header file is done professionally & optimized it will load fast.

    From SEO point since it will be an HTML page you can get good ranking easily.
