Hello everyone. Im in a situation and need help from someone with sense about websites because i have none.

A year ago i purchased a website from flippa. I went with the hosting that the seller recommended. Host007.com.
I was never able to get in touch with anyone from that hosting company. My site has been hosted every since then and i was never charged a penny for it.
Yesterday i listed my site for sale back on flippa with hopes of someone taking this off my hands. Today my site is not hosted nor is the hosting company's website. Maybe they seen my listing? Not sure.

Also the seller was banned from flippa i found out. How worried should i be at the moment??

I can't log in to cpanel anymore for my site.....Is this going to be a problem getting the site rehosted through a reputable company(such as godaddy)?


Someone with some sense about websites help me out. I have no clue what im doing.

    So what DO you have? Do you have the site registrar info? Was the registration transferred to your name? Do you have backups of the site? Is it a wordpress site?

    As long as you have the site registration and a backup of the site, you can get new hosting and have your site back online quickly.

    If you never got site registrar info, you're outta luck.

    depends.

    if the registration was transfered to your name, and you have a backup its not a big deal. direct the name to another host and upload the files.

    if the seller just gave you the login, for all you know he owns the so called " hosting" company, and you won't have much of a led to stand on if he bounced.

    or maybe the host is having server issues, in that base, lets hope you still have that backup
