Help please - Graphic link in WP widget

I'm trying to put a banner in a WP sidebar text widget.

Here's the form I'm using:


<a href="http://ASITE.COM"><img src="http://PHOTO.jpg"></a>

It comes up in the sidebar as just a generic little blank icon.

What am I doing wrong?

    Double check your image source link. If you have one thing wrong, it wont show. If the image is not showing, this is the most likely culprit.

    That's a weird one and the code should work fine. What I did was copy and paste your code into one of my sites, and as you said, I got the little blank icon.

    So what I did next was just paste the image info in
    <img src="http://d5vjy4funet7q.cloudfront.net/images/bannerads/affad6.jpg">

    and the image showed. So I put back the clickbank info and it still worked.

    Sorry I can't help more than that as I haven't a clue what might be going on.
