Hello, I have a one page static website, on a domain that is no good, bought it a couple of years ago without knowing better.

I have now bought a domain, with the keyword getting traffic, I would like to put the site onto this new domain on a wordpress theme, and then optimize it better, is this simple enough to do, or would I be better just moving all the content just onto my new domain and leave it as a static site, Mick.

If you have just one page on your old site, let it be there. Start on your new domain from scratch. Set up WordPress and start adding content. Don't forget to optimize it for SEO. All the best.

I agree with Xtrapunch - set up WordPress on your new domain and re-do the two pages you have (front page and TOS) directly in WordPress.

One note: don't try copying and pasting the HTML from your current site - it won't work. If you don't want to re-write the copy, then copy that into a plain text editor (like Notepad), paste it into WordPress and then re-do the formatting in WordPress.

    Cheers,

    Martin.
