Well from what I see here the page looks great, top job on the layout.

Now the cons your URL and keywords need some work if you want easy traffic. spend some time working with Google's keyword tool, it will help a ton.
Next you might search the forums for Nuclear Ping Scheduler the member that made the app is a genius (enough said there). Now if you don't want to use his programs you can look for other back link and rank building sites. The more back links you have the better. Like I said before if you use the keyword tool and use the keyword you like from there as the URL and embed them into your page you can get a ton of free traffic.

To increase ranking and traffic do forum submission,directory submission and blog commenting.

There are actually various techniques and strategies in marketing your site, you just have to be patient and work hard on it.

Get your Visitors from Social media Networks like Face book, twitter and linked in.. Update your site info and publish your news updating on your site in SMO.. u will get more visitors and more benefits from SMO.

May sound simple but setting up a twitter account using your targeted keywords and matching those keywords with your sites has helped push my sites to the first page. I've done it though where the keywords were part of my domain name...

As per your requirements, you need 2 things at the moment:

1: traffic
2: Page rank

traffic can be obtained through either paid/free way as already discussed above

page rank is something you need backlinks for in order to achieve it, you can follow the route of link exchange (make sure you are doing a 3 way link exchange)

You can submit articles to high pr directories (check first to make sure that they are dofollow)

Romeo, I'm new here too and while I've read a few books on SEO they seem to bring up more questions than they answer and I am hoping this site can help me start to answer some of them. In fact some of the books I read seem to have given me wrong info that caused me to lose time and money with my web sites.

I've found it perplexing to say the least as to how to get better ranking. I have had my site for about a year and in some keyword searches I'm #2 or #5, others I'm #15 or so and others I'm still way down at #50 (and those are usually the MAIN ones where I want them to be in the Top 10!)

What I have learned recently is that a big part of it seems to be getting back links and social bookmarks. I'm looking into Social Monkee and Viral Bookmarking and I started using linkhelpers dot net yesterday. Someone I know used it and she has great google ranking and some of her top backlinks seem to be from linkhelpers. I'd be curious what others here think of it.

Someone above said something like "use Facebook and Twitter to get traffic". Can someone please explain more about exactly how to do that? I mean, it's easy to make a Facebook page and it's easy (for me anyway) to write what I think is useful, worthwhile content. But how do you translate that into traffic? How do you get "friends"? Do you just randomly start asking people to "friend" you? And when they do (if they do) do you start posting commercials on their "walls"? I've heard it's not good to be in "selling mode" on Facebook and Twitter, so then how do you get traffic to your commercial site there?

There's so much competition in my businesses and I'm just not sure how to get my pages/sites on people's radar.

Microfire, you recommend revisitors dot com - Have you used it? What kind of changes in traffic or ranking can one expect from it, and - in a nutshell - how does it work? I looked briefly at their site and I'm not sure I understand how it works.

If you used it or know someone who did, which Traffic Plan was used? And is the price for a day or a year or ? I'm not sure I get what you are paying for. It says $49 for 10k visitors... Over what length of time? Am curious to learn more about it, but not from reading their site but from someone who actually used it.

I also have this question which may also apply to the OP's question:

When using a backlink creator or bookmark creator such as Social Monkee is there any danger in getting too many backlinks or social bookmarks all at once? Will the almighty Google say "Hey, what is this guy trying to pull, here?!" and penalize me? At one point I was convinced that link exchanges and such schemes would lead to being penalized by google and that held my business back for many months! Now I am beginning to see that virtually everyone is using these types of services (Free or Paid) and many of them seem to have nothing but positive effects on google ranking. But is there any danger in using some of these "buy back-links" or link exchange, etc. schemes?
