How hard would it be for a developer to carry out the following tasks?
1) how long would it take?
2) how much would you pay for this to get done?
I got a few projects which i am trying to help a few friends out with their sites
and these are the things i noticed that need work on the site.
but i am not a developer, coder etc... so have no idea how its actually done.
anyone?
Fix Errors:
need to comb your pages for canonicalization issues and amend instances of duplicate URLs
Redirect any 404 errors we find and fix any broken links we discover
Identify, remove and nofollow any external links we find
need to increase usability for both users and search engine spiders by creating comprehensive XML and HTML sitemaps
Make sure that the pages comply with W3C standards and fix validation errors
Check the location of your web hosting
Improve your website:
need to clean up your Meta tags and descriptions
use the on-page content have it optimized so that also boosts internal linking practices
Remove duplicate content that may be harming your rankings
Optimise on-site images
Integrate a WordPress blog with SEO-friendly plugins and link it with the homepage, whilst also providing homepage snippets
Create a dynamic RSS feed and a SEO directory structure
