How To Increase Number Of Widgets

Hi Warriors,

I know by default, the theme EvoLve 1.2.2. by Blogatize comes with 12 widgets.

I am Oliver Twist. I need more.
How can one increase the number of widgets?

    I am not familiar with that theme... but what you say doesn't make sense.

    You can install on a WP site as many widgets as you want: widgets are just specially coded plugins.

    Now, if you are saying that a theme has X number of widgetized sections, i.e. you can place widgets in 12 different locations (not only in the sidebar) - that's a different issue.

    Actually, if you know how to do it (the magic) you can place widgets almost anywhere in a theme...

      I quote the words on my wordpress admin area

      "Theme EvoLve with 12 Widgets"

      I also see that when i try to fill a 13th widget with a code and have it display, it displays incorrectly.

      Maybe my explanation is not completely accurate, not being an expert in that field but perhaps you can deduce what i am trying to say.

        I understand that... I've just never seen a theme that would NOT allow you to put in there as many widgets as you want.

        Just for testing: switch for a moment to the default (TwentyTen) theme and see how many widgets can you place in the sidebar. (BTW, the number shown in the dashboard means how many widgets are in use)

        If it lets you place more than 12 - then talk to the smarta$$ designer who made the theme with that nonsense limitation.
