Does anyone recognise what this theme may be based on? My client is looking for a similar layout and if I can find the base it will make my job much shorter

custom theme named acumen. you will not find this theme online anywhere you will have to create it yourself.

the 3 tab items on the bottom of the home page is not part of the design, it is the coda slider slightly modified

Hard for me to say if that's completely custom or just an existing theme they renamed, but I've seen some similar to that at themeforest.

As someone said above, theme named acumen. So must be a custom theme... Just check the source code to see the theme files which show the theme folder name. Simple actually.

A handy tip for finding out the theme name on a WordPress site quickly - do View Source and do Ctrl-F (Find) for style.css - the theme name is in the URL just above this.

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/fir...on/wappalyzer/ is a great plugin for showing you what technology is behind a site at a glance.
