Hi friends

Is it possible to use WP site for digital library site ? If yes? How do i do it?

Because am planning using it for digital Lib. where I'd be uploading my

products for members to download.

Your help and responses would be appreciated.

Thanks

Yes. You can add posts with an attachment (just upload the attachment as you would an image). Just think of each post as an addition to your digital library. You can categorize them accordingly. There's also a few plugins (check WP repository) related to attachments that may give you a more professional look.

Depending on whether you plan on having 'members' that need to pay to access the posts (i.e., library), you may want to invest in a membership plugin (such as wishlist member or any other). Then you can setup who has access to what posts in what categories.

    Enjoy.

definitely use a member plugin that locks down the files - like Wishlist as Charlie suggested.
