Hello,

I'm sorry if I'm posting this in the wrong category. I didn't see anything for something like this.

I guess this is somewhat of a general question.

As a web developer how do you keep backups of the sites you create? I've created a couple of sites, but I don't think their hosting has the ability to create a backup (this may be incorrect but I couldn't find it on their hosting account).

I've created a backup on my home computer but does anyone have any other suggestions? I'm in fear my computer will crash. I am getting an additional hard drive for a back up for my computer also.

Thank you tremendously for any input as always

create a back-up file and download to your computer and then re-upload to your webite or a back-up websites file manager. so that way it is on your computer, in your website file directory, and backed-up by your web hosting company, you can also upload to rapidshare or websites like it. You can also put the files onto a cd.

Hi Shelle - won't a sharedSSL always show a popup warning that the certificate doesn't belong to the site?
