I want to open an ecommerce site.

Which one do you think is better and why?

Prestashop or wordpress (with ecommerce plugin)?

Any feedback would be great

Thanks

If your site is principally an eCommerce site I would go with Prestashop, because it's designed as an eCommerce platform.

If your site is a content site with an integrated shop then WordPress would do the job, but WordPress is not fundamentally an eCommerce platform so there would be limitations, depending on which plugin you used.

    Cheers,

    Martin.

Prestashop if you are comfortable using it. It is an excellent e-commerce platform with lot of flexibilities. I have used Prestashop for many of my clients with about 98% satisfaction.

If you are selling a bunch of products, then prestashop is the best one; else go with wordpress.

You can also consider zencart.Personally, I have found it easier to work with zencart than prestashop.
