What is Website 2.0 , or next Website 3.0?

I am little confused since I am getting several different feedback on the difference. Some say the website 2.0 is focusing on having better graphics, is that all? Anybody can explain it. Thanks.

    Web 2.0 sites have more widgets, gizmos, and thingamajigs than Web 1.0 sites have.

    its a way of describing a certaine design look - and type of site - mostly gradients - pastel colours drop shadows - letterpress - the edge of the latest design style aswell as technology

    Gyus, It is not all about web 2.0 or web 3.0 having a enhanced graphics or visual appeal or some thing visual.. It has made life of the developers easier. The time and effort involved in creation of a website and component has reduced and the quality of the components have evolved to the next extent. Enhanced graphics is a part of it!!! But it is not everything!!
