Could you post a working url (demo or production) of the theme?

It's difficult since maybe just a few have used that them, but generally, the options are in a theme tab in admin panel in WP, maybe you can see the option to change the worod, but if you want to remove the Home page tab nav, that would be a very difficult, you should put a options page screen shot.

Post a link or PM me and I'd be happy to help. I know my way around Wordpress pretty well.

It depends on what type of theme your using. You could also try a plugin of some sort... Google search Footer link plugin or some variation and youll find one. Make sure you download it from the actual wordpress site though.

I do not know a lot about coding to instruct you on how to go into your editor to do it...

        also sorry for the delay

Hey guys I had figured it out after i had posted this question.
I went into the theme editor and delete this code:

    <li <?php if(is_home()) { ?> class="current_page_item" <?php } ?>><a href="<?php echo get_option('home'); ?>/">Home</a></li>

Now it seems to be working fine...

I'm guessing your question is asking Why I wanted to do that?

Well When I downloaded the theme it already had a home tab installed. My problem was actually getting my information on the default home tab. So when I made a new home tab I had 2 home tabs. That's why I wanted to delete the default home tab...

This is sort of related to this...
I ma also using Matt's free theme.
How do you put your blog feed on a new page, so all your posts automatically go to that page (instead of the home page)?

I'm thinking of doing what marc7 did, but then how do I make one post appear on the home page?

So you want a static page and a page specifically for your blog post...

            Ok...

1). Create a Page named "Home" and a Page name "Blog". You can name the pages whatever you'd like also.

2). Go to the "Settings tab" in your Wordpress dashboard

            3). Click on "Reading"

4). Now you presented with a some options. Click the option that says "Static Page"

5). Now click the drop down menu for "Front page" and select The page you named for your Home Page (Static Page)

6). Do the same thing for the post page. So if you named your post page "Blog" you'd select blog

7). Select save changes and reload your site and you should be all good...

Let me know how it turns out!

Well usually posting links in the footer is just a matter of using widgets. Most themes include a widget section for the footer; in which you can add differnet values such as a search bar, or blog posts. What you would do, is add the widget ttled "text" or "arbitrary text" (i forget which it is), and past the html to your custom link you want. Sorry if this isnt what you had in mind!

    Hi,
I have been using Matt Carters Affiliate Internet Marketing theme (v1.3) for 2 years on a site (Electric Skillets) and what I like is that it is really basic. My issue was that I wanted "Popular Products" on top of the (landing) page. It took some time but editing page.php and moving the div class="featuredproducts" made the trick. Having a hard time to attach the file so please contact me if you need it.

Hi, I've been using Matt's theme with success for many months, but suddenly the site won't show the Blue color scheme I've selected in the theme's Marketing Options on the actual site.

In fact, none of the options are remaining in place after leaving the Marketing Options page, AdSense code, page and post checkboxes, etc.

I've uninstalled and reinstalled the theme, no change, deactivated the Plugins, tried different browser, cleared browser cache...

Also, suddenly a Broken Links plugin is not working that had worked fine and is working fine on my other sites. Not sure if related, but this happened about the same time.

I feel like I'm missing something simple or that there's a cache somewhere else that needs emptying (maybe?).

    Any ideas greatly appreciated.
    Thanks
