Dreamweaver Issue

Hi guys

I've been having a problem with Dreamweaver 8 for the past few weeks.

I open up Dreamweaver and click Open to open an existing webpage, but eight times out of ten it freezes and then closes.

I installed the latest patch and that worked for a few hours but now the problem persists.

Has anyone got any ideas what might be wrong?

    If the page you are opening have a few external links / images it will freeze for a some secs sometimes.

    It doesn't matter whether the page has external links or not, it seems to always crash.

    Thanks for your help though

    Any other ideas?

    You need to find the source of the problem, whether it is the problem cause by the pages you're opening or the program itself, so try to open/edit other page to see if the problem exist, if not then maybe there's something wrong with your dreamweaver or your os.
