Hi Warriors,
Are any of you offering Cushy cms as an alternative to wordpress.
Reason i ask is: two clients i had in the past, knew zilch about wordpress and didn't care to learn. They just wanted a site up asap with contact form etc.
I did recommend cushy as there's a free account and so easy to make a page editable.
Yes, i know WP is awesome, but some clients just want a site tonite!!
:p

WordPress hardly has a learning curve, extremely easy CMS to use, maybe you just need to explain it to them more effectively.

I've not heard of Cushy CMS before. Personally, I prefer Joomla as my CMS of choice - mainly because it's so flexible.

If not using Wordpress I would have to go with Joomla as my second option. Personally I also haven't heard of Cushy CMS before; but will definitely give them a look now as the more options available for my clients the better.

    Hope that helps.

If a client fights to me to not have wp - I tend to just code up a quick simple CMS with a simple page select / FCK editor ... Keeping it as simple as possible - seems to get them sorted, signed off and paid up
