Images not uploading correctly

All,

I am having issues with some PLR I purchased on the warrior forum today. It came with a squeeze page, that included code and images & a style sheet.

I've uploaded all three (easy peezy), but not all of my images work. Some are on my site, but my header and footer (.jpg) aren't showing up.

From the Index of Images, I click the header (or footer) and i get the following message:

The image "http://domain_name.com/images/header.jpg" cannot be displayed because it contains errors.

Does this mean the PLR I purchased has faulty images.

Any advice/suggestions would be appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

K

    Hi there,

I don't think it has faulty images. If this line of code, "http://domain_name.com/images/header.jpg" is the exact web address that shows up in your error message then it is an example web address and it means that you need to change the domain_name.com part of the code to your own domain name/web address.

For example if I created a squeeze page template it would be created with an example web address like the one above but it would need to be changed to your address for the image to be displayed on your website.

Give it a try and see if that makes a difference.

Thanks for considering this issue. The error message (or line of code, as you called it) does have my exact web address. I was just being discrete. I didn't want the moderator to think I was spamming by including my email address.

      Any other suggestions?

Does this happen in all browsers? Also, have you tried uploading them again? There may have been a problem while you were uploading them to the server.

It happens in both firefox and ie. I've re-uploaded at least twice (maybe 3 times. I've lost count).

    Hi there,
It might be caused by the JPG images being saved in CMYK mode. Try re-saving them in RGB mode. I'm not saying this will fix it for you, but worth a try!

This was going to be my next suggestion. I've heard of some people having "corrupted" images because they were encoded with CMYK instead of RGB. This was usually a problem with Firefox, though. I hope that solves the problem.
