I'm putting together a product review site and I'm trying to find the most functional and best FREE wordpress theme for product view sites. Any ideas? I've looked at a few but just can't seem to put my finger on the right one.

Thanks guys!

    I personaly like:

Chrome (a good one that mimicks Google's web browser)
    Mystique
Shiword by Two beers crew is pretty impressive for a freebie. I use it on bestwaystomarket.com

Lots of great ones out there (amazing how far WP has come in a few short years), but can you be a bit more specific about what you are looking for? Do you want something fairly robust (nice drop down menus etc), with a professional appearance - or something compact, simple a clean?
When you say "functional", what sort of functionality are you after?

As you've realized already, the options out there these days are almost overwhelming!

P.S. If you don't mind spending some money, I HIGHLY recommend Artisteer. Awesome for easily making your own WordPress themes exactly the way you want them. It can suck up lots of time (so many possibilities - lol) if you let it, but it's dead simple to use once you get the hang of it.

The products are child related products so something clean. Doesn't need to be "professional" per say. I would really like something similar to the Ultimate Review Theme which is a paid theme.

I'll check out Artisteer. Don't have a lot of cash right now though.

    Thanks a bunch guys.

Haven't come across that "Ultimate" review theme before. Does look pretty slick - and the price seems quite reasonable.
Keep in mind that there is a lot you can do with plugins and widgets though. Heck, you could probably put together a decent looking review site using the "twenty 10" default theme. I've seen some good ratings types of plugins, and all those various widget options shown as features of the Ultimate theme could certainly be replicated I'm sure.

If you feel like overwhelming yourself some more (lol) try a search for "best free WordPress themes 2011"- lots of awesome ones out there!

Yeah for sure! I was pleasantly surprised when I saw that one too.

You're going to fail. If you're afraid of failure then you do not belong in the Internet Marketing Business. Period.

I've been using Suffusion theme and really like it's flexibility. It's also your favorite price, free.

Was ready to pull the trigger on the Ultimate Review theme until I found on here that he's no longer responding to questions about problems with the theme.

I'll check into the twenty-10 theme.

I did try googling free themes....wow....talk about a head rush.

Browse through the wordpress theme directory, that's your best bet, themes should be clean from there.

Paid themes, Thesis or Genesis for frameworks.

Pre-built themes, Genesis child themes, Thesis child themes, WooThemes, Elegant Themes, Themeforest, too much to list.

I'd agree with others, the new twentyelevn theme is pretty slick. You can make it look good with only a few simple tweaks.

You can get nulled themes. But companies like woothemes give away free themes when there is no salary.
