Is this your design? It is a good starting. But you should increase your html and css knowledge. Also if you have not enough experience , you can use wordpress CMS. It has a lot of free and professional themes.

If you get this website from a freelancer, I hope you didnt give a lot of money.

I also recommend using Wordpress to give the site a cleaner look. It looks like you have a lot of content, but the way it is currently organized (in my opinion) makes the site a little busy. Also, the related video section doesn't seem to have a video.

There are things to point out in your site:
- be careful with your font style and color, make it uniform as much as possible to keep it clean. The content is great but its style and color may draw visitors from reading them all.
- improve its structure. Your add is everywhere, perhaps you want to provide a section for the adds and links. This can help you make it more organize.

Very nice, quick loading design. Has some great articles and tips. I think it is great! One thing, I clicked the tab that pokes out on the right, too me to another website which took ages to load so I clicked off, not sure what that feature is, but if you can live with out it, get rid as it may spoil the easy to use/quick interface you have

  Specifically.... everything, from the 3 column table layout, the bulky bold links in left nav, ugly rollover menu, ugly bullets... everything. Its a typical website from 2002 LOL. Actually, I'm not even sure if that is accurate. It may be even more outdated than that. I don't see front page script in the source, so I assume maybe it was a template from a very old template website for free html sites back in the day. Obviously it isn't current... Most sites now are CMS's. Most people still don't know how to develop those but at least they have a backend. I mean, look at the background color of some of the menu items, like related video... that is so pre 2002.
  
  From a design and development standpoint, it sucks.
  
  It does look like a typical MFA site, maybe a little less attractive.. so im sure it at least gets clicks and has decent adsense income so that is a plus.

Lots of contents there, I like sites like that.
But perhaps try re-doing the banner? The quality of the image is rather low and it's a bit squeezed/stretched. Try not fitting a lot of stuffs in one banner. Make it simple and clean.

I suppose other than that have been specifically mentioned by many of the previous posters. Good luck with your site
