Help! Suggestions for client ecommerce setup.
Greetings.
I have a potential new web client who is a Pawn Shop and wants to set up an online store of about 100 to 300 items at a time. I design sites, but large ecommerce sites are not my forte.
The plan is to 'set up' the site and shopping cart with the original 100 - 300 items to start, hang around for a few months to make sure all works well, then, he wants me to train his staff to run it themselves.
For those who run ecommerce sites, I'm looking to you for recommendations on the BEST, easiest, least expensive, solutions. I've looked at a few 'all in one' hosted stores like volusion.com that are already setup for a monthly fee. Seems to be OK. Is there something better?
Love to be able to find a system where uploading pics and descriptions are quick and easy as well and can cut down on man hours.
Any suggestions would be extremely helpful and appreciated.
