How do i insert image with link to my sidebar?

I wanted to include the link into the image at my side bar,how do i go about it?

    You could set the alignment to center, left, or right. The a href is for the link and img src is for the image.

    Hi Wilson, you should upload the image via the Media option, then copy the image link. Go the Widgets admin page, and choose the Text widget. Then you need to enter the following:

    <a href="where-you-want-the-image-to-link-to"><img src="the-image-link-goes-here" alt="put a description of the image here utilizing your keywords" border="0"/></a>
