Try to log in to your account.

Also check the email your account was linked to. They would have sent you some lame autoresponse that doesnt explain a thing.

First you need to know that your site was indexed by Google. Once you establish that type in "site:yoursite.com". If your site shows up in the search results, you have not been banned. If you don't see your site... you sir, are banned.

What can cause your website to get banned: Hidden Text, Alt image tag spamming, Meta Tag Stuffing, Title Tag Stuffing.
To check if your domain is banned download the Google Toolbar.
Once it's installed, simply visit your website. If the Google toolbar is completely gray, this may mean that you have been banned by Google.

Google always banned your site if it will find any critical virus, duplicate content and many more reasons that is illegal for viewers.

you need to check your site, if your site is still indexed by google then your site is safe... mostly google ban the site or deindexed for some reasons, someone reported your site to google for duplicating or scraping content, usually the competitor do this,, sometimes bad backlinks etc..
