I hate the way my WP is laid out. Navigation is crappy. I can't figure out how to manage pages..between...category..pages..post.. etc

I'm using the ProSence template, I don't know how to move my adsense placements.

Ok, here's what I don't get. I set up categories assuming that if I assigned a post to a category it would be placed in that category. NOT! I assigned my last post to a category and it went to the home page. What's up with this?

I notice on my right sidebar, it is showing Categories and Recent Entries...Redundant!....and not at all Visitor friendly! The recent entries comes closer to my idea of site navigation....I had rather have a category function as a tier 2 page and other pages in each particular category function as tier 3 pages.

I don't want all the pages I add going to the sidebar..I want visitors to be able to go to the main category page (the full page, not a brief description as it is) and then I would link from the main categories to other pages in each category. Does any of this make sense?

    Hey burt,

WP out-of-the-box is not SEO friendly. There's a lot of redundancy, which as we all know, Google does not like. You should setup your home page as a "Static page". I would also suggest setting "Syndication feeds show the most recent" to a low number. I like 1 or 2. Also, get the All-in-one-SEO plugin.

I like that you put the bulk of the adsense above the fold! Good move, as this will drastically improve your click through rate.

    Good Luck!
