Hi there,

I have a new website and was promised a blog with it. Unfortunately, for some reason unknown to me still, they have built the site without and want extra to add it at this stage. I no longer want to use these guys and need a blog adding. Is it difficult to integrate? And would it be costly to outsource?

Cheers,
#blog #website

    Hi,

It's very easy to add a wordpress blog and you could probably find someone on the Warriors For Hire Classifieds to do it for you.

Sorry, I could add the blog - but I need it in the style of the site, thats my main problem. I take it its not very easy to turn a CSS site into a theme?

For anybody REALLY familiar with WP, making a theme to mimic the look of the main site should be a piece of cake. By that I don't mean it should be done for a few dollars, although you may be lucky using the service providers here on the forum. (go: Warriors for Hire or Classifieds)

On the other hand, for people that don't understand how WP themes work... it would take quite a steep learning curve, even if not stranger to HTML/CSS.

Yeah what Istvan said is right lol

And btw be careful of the unlimited PMs you are going to get now for posting this, and whoever you are going to hire, don't pay upfront, only pay when you see that some part of the work is done.

Definitively check the ad pages. You can find services there that would cost a fortunate somewhere else. I always check there first before I am looking for some kind of service.

You not necessaries need to design your own blog.
You can just open a subdomain or subfolder from your website and link to other domain such as blogger or wordpress.

I believe you can try up with wordpress, it really easy to set up and use even you do not have knowledge of it. You can start learning and manage it and even get use to it within one month.

Thank you all for the responses - much appreciated. I will check out some guys on the forum and see what I can find. Istvan - makes sense, I need a specialist WP theme guy and I bet they dont come easy! One thing I have learned is you get what you pay for and so I'm not too afraid of paying if there's quality (and less stress) to be had.

    Thanks again everyone.

Any of the freelance websites could also be a cost effective option for you. I've had good results with Elance providers.
