iframes in a PDF? How to?

I'd like to make a webpage open on a page in a .pdf.

Sort of like iframes in html.

The reader would open the PDF, and if they are connected to the internet, a page somewhere in the pdf would open a webpage and display it inline in the .pdf.


Am I dreaming?

    Yep, not possible ... you can embed a PDF in a HTML page via iframe, not the other way round.

    Piece of cake. Use the rich media tools in Acrobat 9. Just Google "Acrobat Rich Media Annotations" - you can embed just about any flash app - including displaying web pages or even entire websites. The downside is of course you need Adobe's flash and acrobat pro, which means $$$.

    Sure, as pbarnhart pointed out, if you want to go the "Acrobat Rich Media Annotations" route, it is possible to embed external sources. Here are few websites that may help with that:
