Loading Backup Files to Wordpress

Hi Folks,

I had someone customise the thesis theme for me sometime last year.

I have since played around with the site (Shouldn't have done this)
and the css got messed up. The person who did the customisation
did give me backup files.

So I guess my question is how do I go about replacing the old with the new?
is it just a case of loading the backup files on wordpress just like you would a new theme? either via ftp or in WP admin panel?

I tried loading the zip file in WP but it's missing an index.php file.

Could you please tell me what I'm doing wrong and how to fix this?

Thanks in advance

Bryan

Just upload it using ftp, you can download the latest wordpress from the wordpress.org extract it and get copy of the index.php file, it is the same thing to the old index.php, if you got problem contact us via skype I can help you asap.

If you have not done anything with the current (old) index.php and it is not the problem then simply re use it.

If the only thing that you messed with was the style.css then simply replace that, there's no need to replace all the files.

    Hey Guys,

So I added the index.php file from a thesis template I have, it uploaded through WP
    but I'm getting this message:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function thesis_html_framework() in /home/jack/public_html/guidedprofits.com/wp-content/themes/modified/index.php on line 7

Any thoughts on how to sort this? or what I've done wrong?

    Thanks
